A Little about us:

Knot Ugly Designs is a mixture of hand crocheted and reconstructed wearable art. We create lovable, stylish apparel from recycled clothing by breathing new life into them. It is an opportunity to redefine what is desirable. 3X cashmere sweaters with holes become treasures. Weird shirts that fit poorly can be reconstructed and made into styles that flatter. Items that survive into a second life must be the best materials. Inexpensive synthetics rarely make the cut for a second go-around. Only the best materials - lambs wool, cashmere, angora, etc - are still beautiful in a second life. Sure it is sustainable, but it is also making the unloved desirable again.
